Thank you to all the parents/family members who have supported in classrooms, on excursions and in swimming lessons this term. We appreciate the time you have been able to dedicate to supporting our students!

Congratulations and well done to our P&C for the conduct of their Trivia Night last Saturday. An amazing $ 3 000 was raised for our school, thanks to sponsors and attendees.

LEARNING CELEBRATIONS and PARENT TEACHER INTERVIEWS

It was great to welcome parents and other significant family members to our recent Learning Celebrations open afternoon last week and the Parent Teacher Interviews last night.

As you prepare for Term 2 with your child, what feedback did teachers share that you could work on with your child to help their continued progress?

HARMONY WEEK

Last week, we celebrated Harmony Week, which recognises our diversity and brings together Australians from all different backgrounds.

Our school turned a sea of orange last Friday as students and staff united together to promote this important theme.

QEW SURVEY TERM 2

The Queensland Engagement and Wellbeing (QEW) Survey is designed to measure how state school students view their wellbeing and engagement. The survey collects data from Queensland schools in a consistent and systematic way. The results of the survey tell schools and the department about how groups of students (e.g. year levels and all students in a school) feel about their wellbeing and engagement. This information will allow us to better support our students and meet their needs.

The survey is open to all Queensland state schools, however, participating in the survey is voluntary for schools and students.

Please click on the link below for more information. Should you wish for your child to not participate please email your child’s Teacher or Mrs Amy Cocciolone on acocc2@eq.edu.au

Wondall will be asking the students in year 5-6 to complete this survey.
