We all worry sometimes. Worrying is a normal emotion, however when our worries grow or don’t go away, they can become difficult to handle.
The one thing worries don’t like!
Worrying is the worst when you feel you have no control over the situation. AND, the one thing worries don’t like - is to be spoken about! When we bottle our worries up inside, they become bigger and even multiply. However, when we speak about our worries to someone we trust, and who will listen, those worries tend to get smaller and sometimes they can even disappear.
How to cope with worries:
Talk it out with someone you can trust |
Try to listen and understand what is happening and how they are feeling. Talk it out with them, sometimes worries are based on wrong information that doesn’t make sense.
|
Allow some calm down time and mindfulness in different ways
|
Sometimes children just need some calm down time on their own. Mindful colouring, connect with nature, cuddle a pet, draw
|
Learn some coping strategies

Have a lovely week.
