YEAR 6 CAMP
Our Year 6 students supported by Mrs Coates, Miss Foster, Mr Bloxsom and Mrs Phelan are enjoying the crisp fresh air and adventurous activities this week at Boulder Creek camp. They have reported back after Day 1 that the activities, location and importantly the food is great! We look forward to their return on Friday afternoon and hearing about their stories next week. We extend our sincere thanks to the teachers attending who have generously given their own time away from their families and other commitments to facilitate the camp!
LOST PROPERTY
We are only 3 weeks into the new term and there is a lot of lost winter clothing currently on display in the Arena. Please have your child check this, or do so yourself as you come into the school. Don’t forget to label clothing items as this makes it much easier to return (and cheaper for you!).
2022 SCHOOL OPINION SURVEY
Wondall is a GREAT school and now is your chance to make sure everyone knows it! Each year, parents, students (in nominated year levels) and staff are encouraged to complete the School Opinion Survey (SOS). This survey supports the continued improvement of our school and provides ‘next steps’ in a range of survey areas. We are proud of our school and the work that is done by our students, staff and families and look forward to these positive achievements, being reflected in the survey responses. The survey will be open from 18 July- 12 August.
All families, school staff and students in Years 5 & 6 are invited to participate. We encourage you to take this opportunity to have your say about what our school does well, and how we can improve.
An invitation to complete the Parent/Caregiver Survey will be emailed to one parent/caregiver per family in the week beginning 11 July. The invitation will be sent from the Department of Education, not the school, and it will have the subject line School Opinion Survey for parents and caregivers, 2022. Check your junk email folders if you can’t find it. The survey can be completed as soon as the invitation is received and will take approximately 5 minutes using a computer, tablet or smart phone.
Parents/caregivers who do not have access to the internet at home are welcome to complete their survey online at the school. School computers/tablets will be available.

If you do… we are putting a call out to enrol your child at Wondall Heights State School by 31 August to be in the chance to win some great prizes, kindly donated by our P&C.
To have a chance to win one of 2x $300 uniform vouchers or 2x Prep book packs, all you need to do is:
- Live in-catchment;
- Enrol at the school office by 31 August 2022;
- AND attend all three Prep Transition Sessions* (one each in September, October & November).
*Please note: these sessions are by invite only. Invites will be sent to enrolled families in August.

Enrolment paperwork is available on our school website or you can pick up a pack at our school office. To enrol, please visit our school office bringing your child's birth certificate, proof of residency and enrolment paperwork.
