Learning Walls

As you walk into our classrooms, you may have noticed the ‘third teacher’ in the room in the form of a learning wall. Learning walls are purposeful, co-constructed, active display references for our students to their English learning. The purpose of these walls is to allow students to know what they are learning, how they are learning and to be able to track their progress so they know what to do to improve and where to go for help.

We encourage you to check out the learning walls in your child’s classroom.

World Teachers Day

Last Friday we celebrated World Teachers’ Day. Thank you for all of the kind messages and also sweet gifts shared with our teaching staff. We appreciate your kinds words and support of our amazing teachers.

Day for Daniel

Wondall turned a sea of red, in support for ‘Day for Daniel’ last Friday commencing with our park and stride walk.  This was our greatest turn out yet.

Warmer Weather

As the sun rises earlier and the weather gets warmer, students are encouraged to bring a named plastic bottle (please refrain from sending glass or metal bottles). Students will also require their hats (make sure they are named).

Save the Date!

The Performing Arts clubs (including Choir, Drama, Dance and Musical Instruments) are preparing to travel the globe in a special showcase of our wonderful students' talents! As we cross the seas and explore new lands on stage, we hope to see you too.

When: After school, Thursday 1 December (Week 9).  More details to come!
