A big thank you to all the staff that came and completed a job on the day to get our whole school through multiple running events. It’s a big challenge to complete in one day and they always seem to rise to it no matter what! Well done! Encouragement to all students that participated, helping their house team achieve. Thank you as well to the support from parents and spectators on the day.

10 years and up students that are successful in qualifying for the Bayside District Track and Field Carnival next term will be informed by Mr. Bloxsom when we return in Semester 2. This often requires more than just winning an event. There are times, heights, distances that also need to be adhered to.

Congratulations to our victorious teacher coaches and all their teacher/coach teams in their plights at sport this Semester 1 season. From our perspective,  from beginning to end the students learned their sports, built teamwork, understood opposition, dealt with wins/losses and draws, had fun and stayed fit during their involvement.

Year 6 Boys Football may have some progression games starting early next semester. Mr. Haworth and Mr. Bloxsom will inform the boys as the information comes through.

A reminder that jerseys worn at Rugby League and team kits worn at finals need to be returned to your teacher/coach or the office this week as some staff may be on camp.
