Positive Behaviour for Learning
PBL Focus Week – Reset and Reconnect for Term 3
Wondall students are safe, respectful and responsible. This fortnight our whole school’s focus is to build positive relationships, re-teach expectations, revisit rules and routines and positively reinforce these using our ‘Dougie Reward System.’ Our students will be participating in a range of connection activities to help build positive relationships within their class, as well as with their peers.
Parents, please chat with your children about what ‘connection’ activities they have completed, what they can tell you about our 3 school rules and what does being an ACE student mean to them?

New Lunchtime Expectations:
Over the last two weeks of Term 2, our school trialled playing first and eating second during our lunch breaks. Feedback from staff and students was in support of this new change. Some other feedback was that students were not getting long enough to eat, so a slight change for 1st Break only is to have 5 minutes longer during eating time.
This is to help reduce students entering classes straight from play, often resulting in behaviours occurring. When students have the time to sit, eat and settle after play, we are hoping to see smoother transitions back into learning resulting in less behaviours during class time. The new bell times are as follows:
